Name the event before entering its date
An expiry note can contain a last trading cutoff, a reference-price observation window, the publication of a final settlement price and a later account posting. A single calendar reminder cannot identify all of those events. Start with separate rows even when some dates eventually turn out to match.
For each row, retain the exact product identifier, contract month, event label, source reference, stated date and original time-zone wording. Add a Singapore display time only after identifying an unambiguous instant. If a document gives a date without a clock time, preserve that precision rather than silently adding midnight.
A product-family summary does not settle a contract-specific question
CME's cryptocurrency FAQ distinguishes reference-rate publication times and identifies exceptions between products. It also explains how weekend and holiday trading can receive the following business day's trade date. These are reasons to keep product identity and event type visible; they do not provide a universal last-trading rule for every crypto future.
In particular, a statement that a reference rate is published at a certain time is not, on its own, evidence that trading terminates at that time. Use the current specification and the applicable exchange calendar for the exact contract before marking its last trading cutoff confirmed. This article has not verified a live contract's termination or holiday-adjusted expiry date.
A London Friday can become a Singapore Saturday
The following are invented diary inputs for time conversion, not an exchange expiry schedule. If a source states 16:00 London on 31 July 2026 with the known offset +01:00, the equivalent Singapore time is 23:00 that day. If it states 16:00 London on 27 November 2026 with offset +00:00, Singapore displays 00:00 on 28 November.
The different Singapore dates follow from the supplied instants and offsets. They do not establish that either date is an actual expiry, a business day under the contract rules or an account posting date. Nor does the word Friday in an overseas notice prove that the event falls on your local Friday.
| Invented source instant | Equivalent Singapore instant | What the example proves |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-07-31T16:00:00+01:00 | 2026-07-31T23:00:00+08:00 | Same local date for this supplied instant |
| 2026-11-27T16:00:00+00:00 | 2026-11-28T00:00:00+08:00 | Next Singapore date for this supplied instant |
Keep both the schedule and what actually happened
Use separate scheduled and observed fields. A broker's later statement may show when an adjustment was posted to your account; that is a different piece of evidence from an exchange's published timetable. Keep both references and label any comparison as unresolved until the units, event type and contract identity agree.
Do not derive business-day adjustments from your phone's Singapore holiday calendar unless the contract explicitly uses that calendar. A product can define relevant business days elsewhere. Record the named calendar and the version of the rule you used, then attach the dated notice supporting an exception.
Before relying on the diary, check that every confirmed row has an actual source, that date-only entries remain date-only, and that the local display includes its date as well as its clock time. An unfilled event is missing evidence, not proof that the event does not occur.
The diary organises evidence; it does not place an order, recommend a rollover or confirm a settlement payment. The optional offer below leads to this site's separate crypto signals and Telegram updates page. That offer is not required to use the diary and does not supply missing contract specifications or establish eligibility in Singapore.
